Orland Unified School District is currently engaged in a new textbook adoption process for our TK through 5 classrooms beginning in the 2017-18 school year. As a school district serving elementary students, Orland must choose from a list of "State Approved" curriculum. The teachers, principals and external experts have engaged in an exhaustive process to narrow down the more than five choices to two "finalists." At the December 15th Meeting of the Board of Trustees, the administration announced the two top curriculum for consideration:

Both curriculum materials are available for public viewing beginning January 3, 2017 through January 19, 2017 at the Glenn County Office of Education in the TREE Center at 676 E.
